ADA online chat facility

Posted on April 13, 2020

Starting on Monday 13 April 2020

Between 12pm-1pm and 2pm-5pm, every day, our Helpline staff will monitor our new online chat facility. In the bottom left corner of your screen when you visit www.alcoholanddrugsaction.org.... you will see a small text chatbox. Clicking on this will allow you to ask questions and receive advice. Direct Access Service Manager, Simon Pringle said, " You’ll be connected to someone from our experienced team. They’ll introduce themselves and ask for your first name. They will then ask you some questions to understand what you’re worried about. You’ll be able to talk about your concerns and how you’re feeling. They will give you any advice and guidance they think will be helpful to you, and can explain your options for getting more help including the range of services that ADA offer’

Always remember that during these times, indeed between 10:30am and 1pm, also 2pm-5pm, our helpline is open to calls on 01224 594700 or 07927 192706.
